![]() ![]() If your shipping stuff of value the small investment in proper shipping stuff will save you some money, heartache and frustration. ![]() A few months later they sent the remainder of the envelope back to him as the return address was visible. It got stuck in the conveyor belt and caught on fire. My brother shipped some cheaper cards in an envelope. I've had stuff not show up and have to refund so if the shipment is valuable I'll add insurance. I've never had damaged product get delivered. Anything under goes into a small envelope.Īll cards go into a penny sleeve (sometimes in deck sleeves I've retired) and then go upside down into the hard sleeve and then a small piece of tape so they can't slide out. The printer paper goes into my standard laser printer.Īnything over $10 goes into a bubble mailer. I have small bubble mailers, sticky printer paper made for labels, penny sleeves and hard sleeves, and scotch tape. I set this up with AutoHotKey and it saves a bunch of time, because I can usually sleeve and pack up the inside of the envelope and seal it while the script is running to print the label. I have a few scripts to automatically click and do stuff on eBay to make it a bit quicker, and do the Photoshop actions, so for most normal envelope orders, I have a single button that clicks on "Print Shipping Label" and takes everything from there (selecting eBay Standard envelope, clicking the button to purchase, downloading it, opening it in PS, running the action to print, then minimizing PS and clicking a bookmark to go back to the orders page and ready to go for the next order). These label printers are made to do a ton of labels in a row at a high speed, but I personally just do one at a time with it. They download at something that's like a half inch off of 4 x 6, so I just have an action to set it to 4 x 6 and delete the extra garbage at the bottom. I also have a little photoshop action to adjust the First Class Labels to fit more exactly and print. It basically just turns it portrait instead of landscape, but also deletes the 2nd instance of my eBay username that is always on the label for some reason. ![]() To actually print the label, I open the downloaded PDF from eBay and run a little action script I made in Photoshop to orient it correctly and print it. It's probably a bit overkill if you're only doing 10-20 or something. My personal opinion: This set up is great if you do A LOT of envelopes a week (100-200+). Label Printer (A bit pricey right now, I got it when it was on sale):Īlso, I feel like most similar models will do just fine, this is just personally the one I chose.
